Environment & sustainable futures
We’ve worked with a range of charities, funders and companies working on environmental sustainability, climate change, biodiversity and conservation.
This work has touched on issues such as tackling global air pollution, the connection between the environment and health of individuals, and the role of design and community involvement in developing more sustainable infrastructure.
Featured projects:
Clean Air Fund
Clean Air Fund – Dynamic website showcasing the new strategy of an evolving organisation
As a relatively new organisation, Clean Air Fund wanted a website with a more energetic look which brought their brand and strategy to life. They needed a partner to lead on the design of the site and extend the visual language of the brand.
Nuffield Council on Bioethics
Nuffield Council on Bioethics – Brand alignment and website for a leading policy and research centre
We worked with Nuffield Council on Bioethics on a project to update and align their brand with their main funder, Nuffield Foundation. We also built a website that more effectively targeted their policy audience and showcased their work on future trends.
The Bartlett Faculty of the Built Environment
The Bartlett Faculty of the Built Environment – Website for innovative initiative engaging local communities in design
Bottom-up Infrastructure (BUI) is an initiative that explores how communities can engage with infrastructure design to create sustainable and healthy places. We worked with BUI on a new visual identity and website to showcase their work.
Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew
Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew – Website to enhance the experience of Temperate House glasshouse visitors
Visitors to the Temperate House are able to view 1,200 different species of plants from across the world. We worked with Kew to build a website that visitors could access on their smartphones, with quick access to plant types provided by QR codes on signage.
Some organisations we’ve worked with
Bureau were brilliant to work with on this project. We had a lot to deliver and tight deadlines – they were really collaborative and helped us find elegant yet pragmatic solutions to the problems we needed to solve, helping us launch the site in time for our opening event. We would absolutely work with them again and happily recommend them to others.
