Brand
We can help with all stages of the brand development process, from the initial strategy through to application. We’ve created and refreshed brands for a wide range of organisations and have provided art direction on numerous digital and print campaigns.
Our service
Strategy
Research, consultation and facilitation to define all aspects of a brand including mission, vision, values and messaging. We can help with organisation or product naming.
Visual identity
Exploration of key elements (logos, fonts, colours, photography, etc) across multiple routes. When an approach is agreed, we create brand assets, templates and guidelines.
Applications
Applying the rules of a brand, either captured formally in guidelines or more loosely across existing documents, to a wide range of new print and digital applications.
Featured brand projects:
- AccessibAll
AccessibAll – New brand rollout to support a change in name and geographic focus
To coincide with the launch of a new organisational strategy and their change of name, AccessibAll (previously CAFE) were looking for a partner to help them reposition to a more global focus while retaining their core values.
- Humanitarian Leadership Academy
Humanitarian Leadership Academy – Brand strategy and identity system for flagship leadership programme
The Humanitarian Leadership Academy (HLA) enables people around the world to prepare and respond to crises in their own countries by ensuring humanitarians and volunteers can access high quality, contextualised learning.
- Girlguiding
Girlguiding – Digital brand guidelines to encourage coherence across online channels
Girlguiding needed a comprehensive set of digital-specific guidelines to ensure brand coherence online. We helped them codify their online presence, enhance their digital brand assets, and overturn a few brand preconceptions along the way.
- What Works for Children’s Social Care
What Works for Children’s Social Care – Brand identity to coincide with the public launch of a new organisation
We worked with What Works for Children’s Social Care in partnership with Forster Communications on a brand development process. Forster led on the work on the core brand strategy and we were commissioned to translate this into a comprehensive visual identity.
Bureau did a great job of picking through a wide range of legacy materials across channels, clarifying and codifying into a coherent collection of definitive rules and assets. They delivered more than expected – challenging established rules where necessary and making a number of new recommendations. They’ve filled a massive gap in our organisation.
